Surrey New Writers Festival

I’ve been to every festival

for the last four years

in ’19 and in ’20 

face to face.

I heard about the MA,

Creative Writing sounded great,

I applied and to my joy

I got a place.

Due to Covid

both the ’21 

and the ‘22

were international gatherings online.

We were thrilled to welcome everyone

and build community

it proved to be a 

very social time.

Now the world has opened up

in person’s all the rage

and for ‘23 the Uni 

is set to be our stage.

We’ve started on the line up

and have a super team

excited to deliver on 

our ‘Best of Surrey’ theme.

Everyone who’s keen on writing

and what writers have to say –
